
Vincent “Vince” Barragan is a first-generation Cuban American and proud resident of Montgomery Township. His parents came to this country in search of liberty and economic opportunity and instilled in Vince the values of patriotism, education, hard work, and service.
Born and raised in Union County, New Jersey, Vince was the first member of his immediate family to graduate college. He then served his country in the US Army as an Infantry Officer where he graduated from the US Army’s Airborne and Ranger schools and was assigned to the elite, 173rd Airborne Brigade based in Vicenza, Italy. He deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom for combat operations for which he earned the Bronze Star Medal and Combat Infantryman Badge.
Since leaving military service, Vince has served in progressive and global corporate finance roles within Johnson & Johnson (J&J). He currently serves as Investment Director for J&J Impact Ventures – where he invests and supports entrepreneurs focused on our frontline healthcare workers and removing healthcare inequities. Additionally, Vince is sought after for his diversity and inclusion experience. He is an expert in attracting, retaining, and advancing diverse and Veteran talent.
Vince enjoys spending time with his spouse Cathy and children Vincent and Valerie and their not-so-much-a-puppy Lily. Additionally, Vince enjoys vacationing at the Jersey Shore, running, cycling and college football.
