Post-it Posse!
July 27, 2018 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
As of last year’s general election (November 2017), there were 16,542 registered voters in Montgomery.
Only 5,833 individuals voted. We have to do better.
An under-utilized tool in our community is the opportunity to Vote By Mail. You can vote up to 45 days prior to election day. Your mailbox is your BALLOT box! It couldn’t be easier, but often, people do not know that this option exists or how to make use of it.
We know time is a valuable resource, so here is a great volunteer activity that you can do without leaving your home: Encourage Montgomery residents to vote by mail.
In cooperation with Action Together New Jersey, be part of the Post-it Posse! All you need are stamps and highlighters! You can come see us on Fridays in July, 3:30 to 4:30 pm at the Mary Jacobs Library. While there, you can write notes, stuff envelopes, OR collect a list that enables you to do the work at home.
Together, we can work to get out the word about getting out the vote BY MAIL!
Please contact Cookie at chair@montydems.org if you have questions, concerns, or want to get involved — or, just stop by the Library! We can use all the help we can get, so pass the word along on to friends.
